Interesting information about the club:
The Club is unique in that it holds a Royal connection directly with Her
Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The February 1986 Expo Show was a world first
in that a perpetual trophy was presented for the Best of Breed Welsh Corgi
Pembroke. This trophy is a personal gesture by Her Majesty in memory of the
late Mrs Thelma Gray, her personal friend, who bred the Queen’s first corgis.
Thelma was one of the original insightful members and first vice president of
the club.
