When was the club founded:
The first meeting of the Club was on the 1st August, 1960, held at the Thebarton Council Chambers. There were 22 people present, and all became founding members. The first AGM was held on the 7th November, 1961.

What does the club do:
All Breeds Dog Club – holding confirmation shows throughout the year.

Interesting information about the club:
The Club’s first show was held on the 3rd June 1961, it was a Parade and attracted entries exceeding 300. The Club’s first fund raiser was a Social and Pick-a-Box night, it apparently was a tremendous success, and the guests were entertained all night by a excellent orchestra!
