How to become a conformation judge?

ANKC Regulations – Judges Training

ANKC Breed Standards

Every breed has an official ANKC Breed Standard, and these can be sourced via the ANKC website.

Information for Aspirants

Before applying to be a TRAINEE JUDGE, members need to complete the ASPIRANT PROGRAM. Requirements must be completed before applying.

The requirements are:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have been a member of the SACA Inc for a minimum period of eight years, during the ten years immediately prior to the date of this application
  • You have bred at least three litters under your own or shared prefix/s
  • You have made up, and/or bred a minimum of two Champions
