When was the club founded:
The club was founded in 1991. The first committee meeting was held at the Esplanade Hotel Brighton on the 20th August 1991

What does the club do:

• We supply information to the public and new owners. All new puppy owners are given 12 months free membership.
• We hold specialty shows and fun days for club members.
• The club provides puppy availability from registered breeders to prospective owners.
• Provide information via social media and club newsletters.
• Assist with rescues and rehoming

Interesting information about the club:

• We work in the Dogs SA canteen to raise funds for the club.
• The have merchandise made to sell, which includes, calendars, cards, pens, embroidered towels, etc to raise more funds for the club. Hold raffles from time to time.
• With this being our 20th year of recognition, we are applying for FCI status.
