What does the club do:
The club runs ANKC Herding Trials, herding training days and workshops. Our workshops are run by highly qualified Herding trainers from both SA and interstate. We raise awareness of the sport of Herding. We also support the generous owners of the properties and stock that we use for our club activities.

Interesting information about the club:
ANKC Herding includes many more breeds beyond Kelpies and Border Collies. In addition to pure bred dogs of the accepted breeds, cross breed dogs of these breeds are also eligible to trial in ANKC Herding trials. There has been an increased interest in Herding as a sport for eligible breeds over the past few years. We are able to train and run trials on sheep and ducks, and hope to be able to add cattle at some point in the future.
